Do-it-yourself wedding videography

Do you want a fresh, new way to videotape your wedding? Charles Davis from Life’s Flix, is offering a new concept for videotaping weddings and events.

Life’s Flix loans small, handheld video cameras to couples, so your friends and family members can capture memorable moments on your wedding day. It’s an affordable alternative to hiring a professional videographer.

Following the wedding, the cameras are mailed to Life’s Flix, and the company’s professional videographer - editor will produce a memorable documentary of your wedding.

If you also want your wedding to be videotaped by a professional, Life’s Flix will send a videographer to your wedding.

Life’s Flix will loan video cameras for life’s special moments: birthday parties, anniversaries, reunions, and other events.

Videotaping tips

  • Choose a couple of talented, creative friends or family members to videotape your day.
  • Give them some direction about what you want and don’t want videotaped. For example, videotape the ceremony, but don’t videotape getting ready.
  • Be sure to videotape your elderly relatives and friends.
  • Return the cameras within a couple of days following your wedding.
