Find wedding planning resources at wedding shows

Recently engaged and planning your wedding? Congratulations!

One of the best places to find a variety of wedding planning resources is at a wedding event: wedding show, wedding workshop, open house or a tasting.

South Sound Wedding Workshop

The staff at South Sound Wedding & Event magazine saw a need to offer helpful tips, ideas. Wedding workshops are comfortable, mid-sized to small educational events for engaged couples, their wedding party and parents. The February workshops are free to all.

Wedding Shows

Wedding shows range in size from 30 to hundreds of wedding professionals. The longtime shows are produced by professionals who strive to offer a variety of wedding professionals for engaged couples.

Wedding & Event magazine presents the South Sound Wedding Show in Lacey and the West Sound Wedding Show in Bremerton every January. At these wedding shows you will see the latest styles in wedding dresses, bridal bouquets, wedding hairstyles and makeup, plus wedding tuxes -- all showcased in the fashion shows. Two fashion shows at 11 am and 1 pm at both wedding shows in Lacey and Bremerton.

Open Houses

Many wedding venues hold wedding open houses and caterers' tastings. They are hosted at venues for outdoor weddings and wedding venues in Olympia WA and at wedding venues in Tacoma WA. Open houses are usually free. Sometimes the caterers offer free tastings for the engaged couple, but charge a fee for guests. These are produced by the venue or the caterer. Sometimes they have other wedding professionals at the event. These are generally small events -- maybe 5 to 10 wedding professionals there -- and they are designed to showcase the venue and caterer.
