You can find what you need for your wedding and wedding reception on this new, website called Boundless Wedding. This resource is available to engaged couples around the US, but we are proud to say that the owner is located in the South Sound!
Mike Whitlatch, owner and founder of Boundless Wedding, started this site when he saw that engaged couples needed a comprehensive online resource for their wedding and wedding reception.
As he researched this field he says, “I found that there was a lot of information about what couples need for their wedding and reception: venue, photographer, florist, DJ, caterer and more, but there was no comprehensive list for the do-it-yourself (DIY) couple who needed items for their wedding and reception.” For example, ceremony items such as unity ceremony candles or sand vases, aisle runner, wedding programs and décor. For the wedding reception, napkins, personalized congratulations banners, centerpieces and more.
“I wanted to offer a comprehensive online resource where couples could find what they needed in one place, have their items personalized, and shipped directly to them,” explains Whitlatch.
The Boundless Wedding website went online in July 2016. It lists 18,000 items on the site, which took months of programming to get the site up and running. Of those 18,000 items, 15,000 of them can be personalized.
There are some great personalized features on the site: couples can sort by their wedding color and theme, so it saves them search time.
“The items are high quality and nice,” says Whitlatch.
Items are shipped directly to U.S. addresses.
To help make the wedding shopping supply task easier for engaged couples, Whitlatch is working on the next phase of the site.
“I will have checklists of items needed for the wedding party, ceremony and wedding reception,” explains Whitlatch. “From those lists, engaged couples will select their wedding colors, themes and quantities on the site, and the website will automatically calculate what is needed and will ship it to them. It will make it much easier for couples to get what they need. Items can be personalized, too.”
