Karina AND Alberto
SUBMITTED BY LAUREN RYAN PHOTOGRAPHY
MODERN DAY MILLENNIAL COUPLE Karina & Alberto, who started their wedding day with a tour of Tacoma taking photos at a handful of locations including the graffiti walls on 6th AVE and Museum of Glass, Glass Bridge, before heading to Tacoma’s newest waterfront venue, West of the Waterway.
Wedding planner, Good Friend Events suggested that their flower girls opt for adorable flower wands verses rose petals.
The bride and groom wanted to celebrate culture by embracing Alberto’s Mexican heritage. They had 2 piñatas, Mexican food (including a fajita bar), tamarind margaritas as their specialty cocktail, the cutest “Te Amo” (“I love you” in Spanish) sign for their sweetheart table, and their first dance went from “Over the Rainbow” into a traditional merengue dance.
