FROM THE PUBLISHER - 14 Years on May 14th!

In honor of my own wedding anniversary this week (14 years on May 14th) , I thought I would share my first “Letter From the Publisher” found in our 2019 South Sound Wedding & Event Magazine…

I WILL ADMIT THAT AT SOME POINT EACH WINTER, probably mid-February, I start to question my love for the Pacific Northwest and specifically the Puget Sound Region. But this fleeting feeling to leave this area, is just that — fleeting. While I have taken some time in my life to live outside of the South Sound region and even lived abroad, I will always call the South Puget Sound my home. Nothing truly beats our beautiful four seasons; the tulips and daffodils arriving in the spring and pink buds on trees, turning into lush green summers, abundantly colorful autumns, and a reason to curl up by a fireplace with a book and a cup of hot cocoa or tea in the winter. And this doesn’t even account for the stunning views of our majestic mountain and scenery of the deep blue Puget Sound waters. What more of a backdrop could you ask for when planning a destination for your wedding? The South Puget Sound holds the most picturesque scenes you could ask for!

As the new owner of South Sound Wedding & Event, I am delighted to show-case the South Sound and the fabulous vendors we have in this magnificent region. There is truly no better place to plan and host your wedding and some of the most brilliant wedding industry vendors are here to help! Our team hopes that you find inspiration in the pages of this magazine, follow us online for more directory links and contact information, and even join us for a South Sound Wedding Show to meet the best in the industry in-person.

So, thank you for letting us be a part of your journey and many blessings to you as you plan your big day!

Cheers!
