WHEN IT COMES TO THE OVERALL LOOK of your wedding, we love bringing greenery to the design. Greenery, whether hand placed or the use of garland brings a lush look to any ceremony or reception décor.
Worried about choosing the perfect wedding colors? Consider a whole palette that inspires you and conveys your vision. And, no matter which shades you choose, add greenery into the picture. It helps bring all the colors together and create one coherent space. This way, no color will stand out and overpower your design. Green will tie every element together, from your tent to your table treatment.
The use of greenery is endless. Want to make a statement piece in your ceiling? Why not try hanging vines or greenery garlands? Embrace your venue’s structure and build on that, from adding greenery to light fixtures or exposed beams.
Greenery is also a great way to plump up bridal bouquets or even use greenery alone and leave the flowers to the side. Floral Crowns are a great way to break from the tradition of having bridesmaids carry bouquets or to enhance the look. All greenery boutonnieres are a great way to accent a groom/groomsmen overall look.
Other ways to incorporate pops of greenery include on signage, napkins, cake/dessert.
Some of our favorite foliage are seeded and silver dollar eucalyptus, olive branches, Italian Ruscus, and Smilax.
The best part of greenery is that you can use it any season and almost kind of location indoor or outdoor. It brings a sense of movement and texture to your design.
Biggest Piece of Advice: Reuse the greenery in a different location after your ceremony. If you have greenery on your arbor, repurpose it for your head/ sweetheart table or dessert table. Make sure you talk to your event designer and/or floral designer how greenery will elevate your wedding vision.
