2021 Show Update

Well, 2020 may not turn out to be the year we had all hoped for.  Our 2020 show season (back in January and February) was such a success and we were so happy to hear that our vendors were leaving our shows with bookings for the 2020 wedding season!  Now through the lens of COVID, it all feels for naught.  And that is a tough one to sit with.

As we look into 2021, the outlook is bleak for our Annual South Sound Wedding Shows.

Here is what we know currently...  As of October 6, 2020, Washington State has deemed that Phase 3 of the Reopening Plan entirely prohibits consumer events and expos that are indoors.  Only outdoor events will be allowed, and they must have less than 200 in attendance.   Rather than seeing more leniency in the event industry (even if safety protocols are in place) we are actually seeing more restrictive measures.  For this reason, we have chosen to postpone our planned annual winter expos.   Whether we will be able to reschedule in 2021 is currently unknown but we are hoping for an opportunity to hold at least one show.  Chances are that one show will be in the fall of 2021.

We are so sad to make this announcement, but also hopeful that things will change in 2021 and we will still get to celebrate with you all at a South Sound Wedding Show.  In the meantime, find the joy in your journey! As we stated in our post, COVID INTERRUPTS THE JOURNEY:

“So, the journey to the big day may be longer… THAT’S OK!  There is MUCH joy to be found in the journey.  Embrace it and you can find a glimmer of hope in each day.

Stay well and fingers crossed we see you at a 2021 South Sound Wedding Show!
