The purpose of wedding favors is to thank your guests for sharing in your special day and to give them something that will remind them of you in the future.
With this in mind, your gifts don’t have to break the bank. People need to know that their presence was appreciated, not that you spent a fortune on their favors.
Narrowing your favor options can help you stick to your budget. For example, match favors to the theme or décor, or try to reflect your personalities in the gift.
Sachets of seashells, potpourri, seed packets or candies are popular options, but the possibilities are endless. Don’t be afraid to get creative.
Consider whether your guests are flying to and from your wedding. For example, if you give them a bottle of liquor, it requires checking it with luggage, which they may not want to do to avoid the extra expense. Be sure the item is small and packable.
