Tacoma wedding features fall colors

Beautiful fall colors and relaxed atmosphere create a fun, date-night wedding.

When Kellie and Tim described their wedding, they envisioned a fun, date-night wedding. The South Sound couple wanted a relaxed atmosphere where they could celebrate their commitment to one another with friends and family.

Held at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma, the décor played to the natural beauty of the hotel art collection.  Colors were fall-themed to complement the November 2011 wedding, as did the branches and foliage that lined the aisle at the ceremony.

The reception was filled with fun moments as guests enjoyed dancing and an open bar, and memorable moments included the bride’s energetic bouquet toss , “You don’t need to throw it that hard, girls,” Kellie cautioned, laughing.

Her cousin’s young son’s curiosity during the garter toss, “He leaned up against my husband while he was bending over to take off my garter to get a better look at what he was doing. We got a darling picture and everyone laughed.”
