Natural elements and crystal glam for weddings

Bling: Crystals, gems and shiny objects

Shiny objects that catch light and sparkle in the dark are very popular at evening weddings and receptions. Crystals and clear or colored glass gems are used in a variety of creative ways, such as hanging from cupcake stands or small bare-branched trees and sprinkled on reception tabletops.

Northwest and natural elements

The Northwest natural look is becoming popular with couples who want a more organic look to their décor. A beautiful yet simple natural decoration is birch bark, available from florists. It comes in a cylinder shape, so a vase can be inserted inside and filled with greenery or flowers. For centerpieces, use a slice of a tree with the bark as the base and then incorporate moss and flowers.

Add feathers to your centerpieces, bouquets and to your hair ornament, to bring in more natural elements.
