Harlequin Productions

Established in 1991, Harlequin Productions is a professional, not-for-profit theater company in Olympia, Washington. Our mission is grounded in a commitment to high-quality theater productions that excite, challenge, and enrich theater artists and audiences alike by exploring a wide variety of projects, interpretations, and themes.

We own our 200 seat, excellently equipped theater and offer a seven-show, year-round season of eclectic selections ranging from classics to modern and our own original works.

Our productions of Shakespeare's plays are among the most popular and fully produced of the region, employing inventive concepts, original music, and adventurous designs. In addition to Shakespeare, American classics, and at least two original musicals developed and produced by the company each season, we offer new and contemporary works.

In 23 seasons, we have produced more than 125 shows, about 30 percent of these have been world, west coast or northwest premieres.

Consider taking your bridesmaids or groomsmen to a show for a night out in Olympia. Or give tickets to your wedding party as a thank you for being in your Olympia wedding. The Olympia theater is also available for rent when there is not a show in production.
