Five cost-cutting tips for grooms' attire

  1. Shop early. Shopping ahead gives you enough time to rent or purchase formalwear, suits or clothes for the best possible price.
  2. Borrow the tuxedo. If you or one of your groomsmen are of average size, ask friends who own their own tux if you can borrow it for the wedding.
  3. Ask about special package deals. By purchasing or renting attire for yourself and your groomsmen from the same retailer, you can often get a package deal discount.
  4. Look for coupons and discounts. Most formalwear shops have sales or offer coupons several times a year. Always negotiate, and remember to ask about special rates or discounts.
