Book wedding and reception location early

If it's high season (May through mid-October) in the South Sound, often the professionals are already booked, and you run the risk of not getting the professional that you want.

Bottom line: Book wedding professionals early!

During high season, it's best to book nine to 12 months in advance. Other times of the year, six months advance notice is best.

  • Venue for wedding & reception
  • Caterer
  • Rentals
  • Photographer and videographer
  • Florist
  • Officiant
  • Other professionals (such as musicians or DJs)
  • Order your wedding dress and attire, pluse the men's formalwear

When you ask a wedding professional for a proposal or cost estimate, they generally spend several hours on it. When you choose your professional, please call the others to let them know you have chosen another wedding professional.
